Description: Stud caps typically consist of a molded plastic head and shank
with thin fins extending inward for the purpose of capturing a threaded stud. Retention
features on the cap allow the cap to pushed onto a stud. Removal is typically achieved
by un-threading the part off of the stud. This product is used to hold secondary
panels onto the vehicle via a threaded stud. Typical applications include areas
such as leaf / cowl screen attachments, carpeting, access panels to head / tail
lamps, etc. Additionally, stud caps can have a textured surface and molded in colors
for cosmetic applications
